The Bay Area Game Jam
Preseted By: Wild Pockets and Microsoft
May 15-16th at Microsoft’s Silicon Valley Campus
Event Details:
The 2nd Annual Wild Pockets Bay Area Game Jam is two days of intense creativity. Teams of game developers compete to win a $2,500 cash prize by creating the best game using the Wild Pockets Platform in 24 hours. This is a free event, sponsored by Wild Pockets and Microsoft. You can register yourself or a team (2-5 people). Leading up to the event, there will be several meet-ups where you can learn more about Wild Pockets, the Game Jam, or scout for potential teammates. There will also be a teammate search feature added to the main game jam site.
Prizes:
The winning team will receive $2,500 cash prize and have their game published, distributed and promoted on the Wild Pockets' website. The second and third prize teams will also win prizes, distribution and promotional opportunities.
Bring:
You will need to bring a Windows compatible laptop or desktop with you as well as earphones or speakers if you plan to add sound to your game.
